Description
These wort kits are made on a Speidel 500L Braumeister Brewery, they are all grain and brewed true to style. They are especially suited to time poor brewers or those who simply want an excellent beer with a minimum of effort.
NOTE: These kits are generally designed to add 3 litres of water to the fermentation to achieve the ideal balance, you may if you wish, not add the extra water for a richer, higher gravity version. Yeast not included.
DESCRIPTION
In three words: Bright, light and clear. That is the best way to describe one of the most pleasurable beer drinking experiences you’ll have when you savour our new Munich Helles style Fresh Wort Kit.
Helles is actually its own style of beer first brewed in Munich in 1894 to do battle with the growing popularity of Pilsner style beers. Traditionally brewed to be very pale golden yellow, more malty and less bitter, Helles is the right choice for lager beer drinkers that prefer a softer, dry finish rather than the crisp, assertive bitterness of Pilsner.
When you’re drinking Helles, you’ll notice a well-rounded balance between sips. There are no strange or dominating flavour spikes, no aggressive bitter component and not even the slightest of haze in the appearance. Helles delivers malt forward satisfaction with the exact amount of hop spice perfection to balance the experience without sweetness. The fresher you can get this beer, the more mind blowing the experience. Export varieties are available throughout Australia, but have come a long way to get here. When you make our Helles and have it fresh on tap, it’s a higher drinking experience that you can never get from imports, cans or bottles. It pairs well with roasted chicken or pork dishes, pork sausages, mild cheeses and grilled seafood.
